About siripatha

A Learning Centre Built on Patience and Clarity

We believe the decisions adults make about their later years deserve the most careful, unhurried attention — and that good learning begins with trust.

Back to Home

From Silom Road, with Purpose

siripatha was founded in Bangkok by a small group of financial educators who noticed a recurring concern among their peers: adults in their forties and fifties often sensed the importance of planning for retirement but had few places to turn for patient, accessible guidance.

The financial landscape in Thailand presents its own particular considerations — the role of provident funds, the structure of the Social Security Fund, the varying accessibility of listed equities, and the practical weight of property in household wealth. Courses built elsewhere for other contexts often did not translate cleanly.

So siripatha was built from the ground up, with content developed for the Thai context and a teaching philosophy centred on respect for the learner's pace. Our name draws from the Thai concept of a deliberate path — one taken with awareness rather than urgency.

Since opening our centre at 55 Silom Road, we have worked with adults from across Bangkok and surrounding provinces, as well as international residents living in Thailand who wanted grounded, practical information specific to this market.

Our Vision

A Thailand where adults approaching retirement feel informed, prepared, and calm — not anxious or rushed into decisions they do not fully understand.

Our Mission

To provide structured, accessible financial education tailored to the Thai context, delivered at a pace that respects each learner's background and comfort level.

Our Values

Honesty in every course description. Patience in every session. Clarity over cleverness. We do not tell participants what to do — we help them understand their options.

Our Team

Each member of our team brings both subject knowledge and a genuine interest in making financial topics approachable for adults at different starting points.

SW

Siriporn Wattanakit

Lead Course Advisor

Fifteen years in personal finance advisory across Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Siriporn developed our curriculum framework with a focus on practical tools rather than abstract theory.

SR

NP

Natthida Phumipat

Participant Support

Natthida manages enrolment, scheduling, and ongoing support for our participants. She is usually the first point of contact for anyone with questions before or during a course.

Our Standards and Commitments

These are not aspirational statements — they describe practices that shape every course we run.

Clear Course Descriptions

Every course listing describes exactly what is covered, what prior knowledge helps, how many sessions are included, and what materials participants receive. No vague promises.

Controlled Group Sizes

We limit session sizes to preserve meaningful discussion. When a group is small, questions get answered properly and participants feel comfortable raising personal concerns.

Privacy and Discretion

Personal financial situations shared within sessions remain confidential. We do not share participant data and hold all information in line with Thai data protection standards.

Regular Content Review

Thai financial regulations and market conditions change. We review our course materials at least twice a year to keep content current and relevant for our participants.

Post-Course Feedback

Each cohort is invited to share written feedback at the end of their programme. We use this to adjust sessions, improve materials, and understand what participants found most and least useful.

Independent Guidance

We are not affiliated with any financial product, fund, or advisory firm. Our role is to educate, not to direct participants toward specific products or providers.

Retirement Planning Education in the Thai Context

Adults in Thailand approaching their forties and fifties occupy a distinctive position. Many hold assets across several categories — property, provident fund balances, savings accounts, and perhaps some listed equities — without a clear picture of how these work together over time. siripatha was built to address this directly.

Our courses are grounded in the structure of the Thai financial system: the Social Security Fund and its retirement provisions, the mechanics of Retirement Mutual Funds (RMF) and Long-Term Equity Funds (LTF and their successors), the role of government savings banks, and the practical considerations of rental income from Bangkok property in a changing market.

We draw on Southeast Asian case studies rather than examples from other continents, because the lived experience of retirement in this region carries its own particular texture — family obligations, healthcare considerations in the Thai context, and the real costs of urban life in Bangkok versus the provinces all factor into a sensible plan.

Every member of our teaching team has worked within the Thai financial or education sector. We do not import curricula from abroad and apply them here without adaptation. The content you encounter at siripatha was written with Bangkok in mind.
